Foggy Flers

Temperatures are warming up around here, but it's still chilly at night. Consequently, every day, even if in the afternoon it's going to be sunny, the confrontation of warm and cool temperatures in the morning and the evening means that the whole town and countryside are cloaked in thick, white fog. It's rather romantic on the best days, and terribly dreary on others; plus, it's a cold fog, so you really have to bundle up, even if later it's going to warm up into the 60s.


It's even worse at night, especially if you're caught in it when you're out driving, as Finn and I were last weekend when we returned back to Flers after a day in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne (post upcoming). This is the view from my apartment window in the thick of a foggy night:
